Amaravati: The officials of Police and Revenue departments told the government two months ago to evacuate people from the villages prone to be affected by the floods at Godavari, tweeted TDP President Chandrababu Naidu on Monday, taking a dig on Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. He asked what the intellectuals of the government have been doing?

Tweeting about Polavaram project, the TDP supremo said that the project is implemented under the guidance of the Centre and by following the regulations of the Central Water Commission (CWC). A lot of thinking goes into the project, he tweeted.
