The Union Public Service Commission on Sunday conducted on Civil Services (Preliminary) examination across 22 centres in the district in two sessions.
Visakhapatnam: The Union Public Service Commission on Sunday conducted on Civil Services (Preliminary) examination across 22 centres in the district in two sessions. The morning session recorded 48.76 percent while the afternoon session recorded 47.54 percent. In the morning session, 4,443 candidates have written the exam and 4,669 were absent out of 9,112 registered.
In the afternoon session, 4,332 candidates attended and 4,780 were absent, registering 47.54 per cent. Previously, APPSC conducted Group-1 exam last month wherein the attendance recorded less than 50 per cent.
