CM lays foundation stone for medical college in Eluru
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for medical college at an estimated cost of Rs 266 crore on the premises of Government General Hospital here on Friday.

The college can accommodate 100 students. The construction of the college would be taken up in 12.22 acres of land under the guidelines of Medical Council. Five lecture halls, administrative block, central library, central workshop, 13 medical departments, boys and girls hostels, staff quarters, laundry, kitchen, canteen and other facilities would be provided.
The Chief Minister ordered the engineering department officials to complete the construction at the earliest while maintaining quality standards. He also received representations from hospital employees and sanitation staff and assured to solve their problems.
