Chittoor: Minister for Energy, Forest and Mines P Ramachandra Reddy on Friday instructed the Kanipakam Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy temple Executive Officer to finalise the draft master plan for overall development of temple and get approval from the government.
After offering prayers at Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy temple along with Puthalapattu MLA M S Babu, the minister said the temple would emerge as number one temple in the state after Tirumala in respect of revenue and development.
He assured that the government would extend all support for the development of temple and called upon the temple administration to ensure maximum facilities to devotees.
Temple Trust Board Chairman A Mohan Reddy and Temple Executive Officer A Venkatesh gave rousing reception to the Minister.
