Eluru: Officials told upload beneficiaries photos with house sites
West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials to upload photos of beneficiaries taken at the house sites allotted to them to finish the process of house sites allotment.

The Collector reviewed village-wise house sites allotment in different mandals of Denduluru constituency. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that unless the officials upload the photos of the beneficiaries, the house sites allotment would be treated as incomplete.
The Collector expressed anger over inclusion of ineligible persons as beneficiaries of the house sites at Prattikodulanka village in Eluru rural mandal. Earlier, the number of beneficiaries was shown as 81 and recently another 161 beneficiaries were added to the list. He wondered how the number of the eligible increased suddenly.
When Tahsildar attributed the rise in number of beneficiaries to improper verification earlier, the Collector said he would re-verify with another team in the village and warned of stern action against the official, if the beneficiaries were found not genuine. Because of the false deeds of a few corrupt officials, the entire district was getting a bad name, the Collector lamented.
