Anantapur: Its another big setback for the Telugu Desam in Anantapur district. The senior leader and former MLA Mettu Govinda Reddy have resigned to TDP on Tuesday.
Govinda Reddy has decided to join YSR Congress party, for which he is going to meet YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Hyderabad.
Minister Kalava Srinivasulu and Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy have tried to convince Govinda Reddy not to leave the party, but their meeting was not fruitful.
After his decision to quit TDP, YSRCP leaders have reached the house of Mettu.
