Expedite investigation in SC/ST cases: DRO NVV Satyanarayana
District Revenue Officer NVV Satyanarayana directed the officials concerned to speed up investigation in ST/SC Atrocities cases to deliver justice to the victims and instructed the Revenue and Police departments to work in tendem.
Guntur: District Revenue Officer NVV Satyanarayana directed the officials concerned to speed up investigation in ST/SC Atrocities cases to deliver justice to the victims and instructed the Revenue and Police departments to work in tendem.
He addressed a meeting with the Revenue and police officials at the Collectorate in Guntur on Thursday.
He said that he was conducting the review meeting in the backdrop of a review meeting to be held in Velagapudi very soon on the progress of the SC/ST Atrocity cases and payment of compensation to the victims.
Over 400 SC/ST cases were pending in Guntur rural and urban districts. He directed the officials to provide rehabilitation to the victims of the SC/ST Atrocity cases and conduct divisional level meeting also. He warned that he would take stern action against negligent officials.
