Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara announced that they are planning to conduct the foundation ceremony for the IIIT in Kanigiri Assembly constituency in February.
Kanigiri: Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara announced that they are planning to conduct the foundation ceremony for the IIIT in Kanigiri Assembly constituency in February.
The Collector inspected 270 acres of land in Malakondapuram village of Pamur and 300 acres of land in Ballipalli village of Kanigiri mandal along with the local MLA Burra Madhusudan Yadav and vice-chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Professor KC Reddy on Thursday.
He said that the IIIT to be constructed in Prakasam district would host about ten thousand students. He said that arranging the IIIT in Kanigiri helps the local people and assured that the findings in the tour will be taken to the notice of the chief minister. Kandukur RDO Obulesh, APIIC zonal manager Narasimha Rao also participated in the program.
