The state government has given the green signal for the appointment of members of the temple trustees for the Famous pilgrimage site Arasavalli Sree Suryanarayana Swamy.

The state government has given the green signal for the appointment of members of the temple trustees for the Famous pilgrimage site Arasavalli Sree Suryanarayana Swamy.

The general secretary Dr Manmohan Singh had issued an order on Monday. In 2011, a trust board was set up for Arasaavalli temple. The Board of Trust has was established by the initiative of Dharma Prasad Rao, the then Revenue Minister and current MLA.

The temple was again instructed to set up a trust board. According to the latest directives, interested members are required to fill the form-2 with confirmation by October 20 and submit it to the temple's assistant commissioner.

The state government has issued a notification to appoint trust boards to 25 new temples, which includes Arasaavalli. Ex-officio member and nine trustees are to be set up here.

The trustee will serve as chairman of the trust board. "As per the latest notification, we will give 50 per cent reservation for SC, ST and BC castes. We will consider the applications and report to the Government and the Commissioner of the Department. an official stated."
