The state government has issued operational guidelines for implementation of the “YSR Rythu Bharosa” Scheme from October 15, 2019, that is from Rabi, 2019-20.

Amaravati: The state government has issued operational guidelines for implementation of the "YSR Rythu Bharosa" Scheme from October 15, 2019, that is from Rabi, 2019-20. This scheme is aimed for augmenting the income of Landowner farmer families and to the SC, ST, BC and Minority Landless Tenant farmer families by providing financial assistance across the State.

Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to the farmer families including tenant farmers at Rs.12,500 per farmer family per year. It will support the cultivators in meeting the investment during the crop season with a view to enable them to timely sourcing of quality inputs and services for higher crop productivity.

The Landholder farmer families who collectively own cultivable land irrespective of the size of land holdings will be provided a benefit of Rs.12,500 per annum which includes benefit of Rs.6,000 per annum per family provided by the central government under PMKISAN in three instalments. The existing validated land ownership database will be used for identification of beneficiaries under this category of the scheme.

Financial assistance will also be provided to landless cultivators belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minority categories at Rs.12,500 per year from the Budget allocation of the Government of AP.

A farmer family is defined as "a family comprising of husband, wife and children". Married children are considered a Separate Unit for considering assistance. "Landowner" means the owner of the land or a person legally authorized by the owner.
