Guntur: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following the footsteps of architect of Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar and implementing several welfare schemes for the benefit of weaker sections.
He paid rich floral tributes to statue of Dr B R Ambedkar on the occasion of his 63-death anniversary being observed at Lodge Centre here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Kanna said that fulfilling the dreams of Dr Ambedkar was possible with the BJP government only.
He remembered the efforts made by the Dr B R Ambedkar to uplift the weaker sections. Former minister and BJP leader Ravela Kishore Babu, BJP leaders Talla Venkatesh, Korrapati Suresh and K Suresh were present.
