Guntur: Doctors at the Omega Hospital here performed a rare breast cancer surgery on a woman on Wednesday and removed 6 kgs tumour from her breast. One of the rare breast cancer surgery performed in the country.

According to Omega Hospital chief oncologist Dr MG Naga Kishore, a 33-year-old patient from West Bengal has been suffering with a tumour in breast for the last 4 years. Due to which she was suffering with heavy pain and getting fatigue while walking. First time, she had undergone cancer surgery 2 years ago, but the cancer has relapsed once again. The patient approached doctors in the Omega Hospital, Guntur for treatment. The doctors in the hospital conducted tests on her and found a 27X24 cms size tumour. They removed the tumour and her breast and successfully performed surgery.
