Guntur: South Coastal Zone Guntur range Inspector General of Police Vineet Brijlal on Wednesday visited Atmakur and Jangameswarapadu villages under Durgi mandal and interacted with the villagers and enquired about their problems.

The local people made it clear to the IGP that they were not facing any problem and leading a peaceful life. The IGP urged the people to complain to the officers if they faced any problem and their grievances, if any, would be taken up in Spandana programme.

Gurazla SDPO Srihari Babu adopted Atmakur village to solve the problems in the village. Similarly, Jangameswarapadu village was adopted by the Macherla rural CI Bhaktavatsala Reddy.

They took up programmes to solve drinking water problems. Vineet Brijlal appreciated the police officials for adopting the villages to solve problems and urged them to get name and fame to the department.

Later,they went to Pinnelli village and interacted with the locals. The residents said they have no problems in the village. Guntur rural SP Ch Vijaya Rao also accompanied the IGP Vineet Brijlal.
