Srikakulam: TDP MP K Rammohan Naidu on Friday asked the BSNL officials to improve telecom services in rural areas in the district on par with private operators. Participating in district telecom advisory committee meeting at BSNL office here, the MP advised the officials to identify new areas where telecom services were required.
BSNL officials informed that they have proposed 13 new towers at different places in rural areas but works were stopped due to non-allotment of funds. Responding to this, the MP assured to make efforts to release funds from the Central government for the 13 towers. He suggested the BSNL officials to install flexies to promote brand in rural and agency areas.
