Borrugadda Anil Kumar of Guntur district has alleged that there was a conspiracy behind the death of former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao. Anil Kumar filed public interest litigation (PIL) in Telangana High Court seeking an inquiry into the death of Kodela with the CBI. He added the CBI, the Telangana government and the Banjarahills CI as the respondents in the affidavit. Petitioner alleged that there were many suspicions about Kodela's death and that there was a conspiracy.
Anil Kumar told the media that as a fan of Kodela he was unable to digest his death. He said Kodela is not that sensitive to commit suicide. He also added cases are quite common for politicians.
Anil further made severe comments saying that Kodela's death was a political assassination and Chandrababu tried to cash in on. He suspected Kodela' s son Shivaram for the conspiracy behind this mysterious death of former assembly speaker.
The former speaker committed suicide on Monday at 11 am at his residence in Banjara Hills.
