He said that he had to resign as his opinion on three capitals differs from the party's stand. Also, he said he kept away from council proceedings not to drag himself into the chaos of the house.
On the other hand, the former minister has expressed his opinion on the abolition of the Legislative Council. He said it is unfortunate to dissolve the council.
