Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita said the government will extend financial assistance to those who deposited below Rs 20,000 in AgriGold Company soon.
Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita said the government will extend financial assistance to those who deposited below Rs 20,000 in AgriGold Company soon.
Addressing media here on Friday, the minister said the government was extending financial assistance to AgriGold victims as Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy made a promise during his padayatra before the elections.
"Though AgriGold scam took place during the TDP government, then Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu failed to do justice to the victims," she pointed out. The depositors who deposited below Rs 10,000 and did not apply for financial assistance, can apply at least now, she said and added the government will extend financial assistance to all eligible victims.
