Chittoor: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is expected to declare the list of candidates to be contested from Chittoor district in two days.

According to a party source, Jana Sena wants to contest from 10 Assembly constituencies in the district leaving two each to CPI and CPM. However, the CPI and CPM leaders are claiming that they want to contest each from four seats leaving six seats to Jana Sena. Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, CPI district secretary A Rama Naidu has made it clear that his party will not compromise with Jana Sena on number of seats.

He stated that the Left parties have excellent network in all the 14 Assembly constituencies in the district. To respect the seat sharing agreement, the CPI wants to contest in four seats only, he added and said that the Jana Sena will play a key role in the next elections.

The CPI leader mentioned that the TDP will suffer humiliating defeat in the next elections as the party is encouraging caste-based and hereditary politics. He alleged that YSCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy became a puppet in the hands of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

YS Jagan mortgaged the self-respect of Andhra Pradesh for his political mileage, he slammed. The CPI leader claimed that Pawan Kalyan will emerge as deciding factor in the upcoming elections.
