Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari will be sworn in as Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court at the Tummalapalli Kalakshetra in Vijayawada on Monday.

Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan will carry out the sworn in program at 10:30 am. Interim Chief Justice Praveen Kumar, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Chief Secretary LV Subramaniam, High Court Admin Registrar Purushottam and other judges were present.

Along with Justice Jitendrakumar Maheshwari, his wife Umamaheshwari and about 25 family members and 120 state-level guests will be attending the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Krishna district collector AMD Imtiaz, along with Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner Prasanna Venkatesh, examined the swearing-in schedule on Sunday.

The governor, the chief minister and the two chief judges' vehicles will be allowed inside.
