Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha said that several development works will be taken up for beautification of Kadapa in the coming four years and state government will sanction adequate funds for the purpose.

Speaking after laying foundation for the construction of gravel road from RIMS area to Puttampalle in the city on Friday, he said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on providing funds for beautification of city.

He said that as people were facing problems due to lack of road facility from RIMS to Puttam palle, government sanctioned Rs 40 lakh for the road. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Old Kadapa Tank Bund will be developed on the lines of Hyderabad Tank Bund. He said that proposals will be sent to the government very soon. Former city Mayor Suresh Babu, Irrigation SE Srinivas and others were present.
