Kakinada: BJP state secretary Sagi Viswanadha Raju has said that there is no difference between TDP and YSRCP governments in the state and the new government shattered the dreams of people in six months after coming to power.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was introducing welfare schemes to various sections of the society as part of his strategy to get people's support in several illegal cases in which he was involved, and, in case, he lands in jail in relation after conviction.

The BJP leader warned the Chief Minister that the people were watching the functioning of YSRCP government and would throw it out at the appropriate time. He said that the BJP was not against anyone or any political party and it confined to the State's development and there was no second thought in this regard. Introducing English medium in government schools is nothing but to dilute the mother tongue and make Telugu irrelevant, he lamented.

Raju said that the party was gathering the opinion from party activists to elect district president and secretaries. The opinion of the majority would be taken into consideration in the appointment of president and secretaries, he averred. The party district president Y Mala Kondaiah, SK Baji, C Srinivas and others were present.
