Kakinada: District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy published a draft voter list in the district on Monday.

There are 42,71,956 voters including 21,11,772 men, 21,59,829 women and 355 others in 19 Assembly segments and 4,597 polling booths. As many as 2,17,608 voters including 1,08,138 men and 1,09,453 women and 17 others in Tuni, 2,09,555 voters including 1,03,853 men and 1,05,689 women and 13 others in Prathipadu, 2,33,123 voters including 1,17,335 men, 1,15,784 women and 14 others in Pithapuram.

In Kakinada Rural constituency, there are 2,53,528 voters, 2,08,030 voters in Peddapuram Assembly constituency, 2,15,805 voters in Anaparti, 2,58,441 voters in Kakinada Urban constituency, 1,96,083 voters in Ramachandrapuram, 2,31,709 voters in Mummidivaram, 2,05,648 voters in Amalapuram, 1,89,578 in Razole, 1,92,020 voters in Gannavaram, 2,4,611 voters in Kothapet, 2,15,966 voters in Mandapeta, 2,03,737 voters in Rajanagaram and 2,58,739 voters in Rajamahendravaram Urban constituency are enrolled.

The Collector said that all eligible persons should register by December15. He requested those who have attained 18 years of age by 1 January 2021 in the district should register as voters. During the application period, November 28, 29 and December 12, 13 will be observed as special campaign days and applications will be accepted at all polling stations from 10 am to 5 pm, he said.

He said that applications can be submitted online or at the offices of ERO, AERO (MRO), Booth Level Officer.
