Tirupati : After organising Dhanurmasa Lakshmi Deepotsavam in Kurnool during last week, TTD is all set to observe Kamadhenu Puja in a big way at Narasaraopet on the day of Kanuma on January 15. TTD additional EO AV Dharma Reddy, held a review meeting on the arrangements for the holy event along with JEO P Basanth Kumar at Sri Padmavati Rest House here on Monday.
Later, disclosing the details to the media, Dharma Reddy said the puja will be supervised by Sri Venkateswara Vedic University vice-chancellor Acharya Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma.
All departments were directed to make advance arrangements for the event and this will be as part of the propagation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The Gopuja programme will continue in both Telugu states on January 15. He also directed the SVBC to prepare a documentary on the significance of Go puja.
TTD board members Govindhari, chief engineer Ramesh Reddy, SVBC CEO Suresh Kumar, SEs Venkateshwarlu, Jagdiswar Reddy, SV Goshala director Dr Harnath Reddy, HDPP secretary Acharya Rajagopalan, and Annamacharya project director Acharya Dakshinamurthy were also present.
