Karthika Deepotsavam observed at Kapila Theertham in Tirupati

Tirupati: The annual Karthika Deepotsavam was observed with utmost devotion at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Tuesday evening. The entire temple premises reverberated to the chants of "Hara Hara Maha Deva Sambho Shankara" with devotees reciting in union with religious ecstasy.

Thousands of ghee-lit mud lamps were arranged in the shape of Sivalingam and the main Karthika Jyothi was lit atop the mountain. Temple Dy EO Subramanyam, Superintendent Sribhupathi and others were present.
