Kurnool: State vice-president of National Women's Political Party, Sabeeha Sultana demanded the central and state governments to behead the rapists on the spot when the incident is proved to be genuine. She said it is not proper that the rapists are sentenced to remand and fed. Stringent punishments are being implemented in Saudi and other Arabian countries for such crimes. It is necessary to implement such punishments in our country, she said. She along with district president S Haseena Begum addressed a protest meeting organised on "Disha rape case" on Monday.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Sabeeha Sultana said women of all ages, from 6 to 60 years old are being killed in the hands of rapists. In the recent times, the crimes on women and girl children have been increased beyond expectations. Why the crime on women could not be brought to control, asked the party's vice-president. She further said, the Modi government has introduced a slogan "Beti Bachao-Beti Padao", what is the use with this slogan. "Beti Padao" is a long way to go, but the Beti before becoming woman is being raped and killed then where is the question of "Beti Bachao," she asked. The governments have to implement spontaneous action on the rapists, otherwise the crime on women will go on unstoppable, she stated. Sabeeha Sultana demanded the government to award grave punishment on the rapists of Disha. The district president, Haseena Begum said, "Justice delayed is Justice denied". If instant justice is not rendered, then the rapists taking the advantage of loopholes in law will escape and continue with their heinous acts.

Prior to protest at Zilla Parishad, a huge rally was taken out from KVR Government Degree College for Women. All the students carrying with placards raised slogans "we want justice" and "hang the rapists."
