Liberalise issue of disability certificates, officials told Collector
East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy has directed the district medical and health authorities to liberalise the issue of disability certificates (SADAREM) to the physically challenged.
Kakinada: East Godavari Collector D Muralidhar Reddy has directed the district medical and health authorities to liberalise the issue of disability certificates (SADAREM) to the physically challenged.
Reviewing the medical and health department activities in the district on Monday, the Collector said that every week at Spandana grievance cell, more number of differently-abled persons are coming with representations for the issue of these certificates.
In this connection, the Collector asked the medical authorities to issue these certificates twice in a week. The Collector also advised the Vaidya Vidhana Parishad coordinator Dr T Ramesh Kishore to explore the possibility of issue of these certificates at Rajamahendravaram and two area hospitals at Amalapuram and Ramchandraapuram apart from Kakinada Government General Hospital.
The Collector also directed the authorities to check the spread of seasonal diseases in the present rainy season in the district.
