Vijayawada: As part of social responsibility activity, the Life Insurance Corporation of India handed over scholarship to students who excelled in studies, said LIC city branch 2 manager D Seshagiri Rao.

Scholarships were given to Best Students of the Year of DSR Municipal Corporation High School on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Seshagiri Rao said the Golden Jubilee Foundation was providing educational awards, scholarships, infrastructure to schools and insurance to schools to support talented students.

Ten students of the school from each class were given Best Student of the Year scholarship on the occasion. He said the others students should take them as an ideal and excel in studies. Headmaster Ch VSV Prasad, development officer KKS Srinivas, LIC agent P Kanakadurga, M Kishore, teachers and others were present.
