Liquor, Ganja seized during cardon search operation in Chittoor district
The police have conducted a Cordon Search Operation at Ojikuppam village in Nagari mandal of Chittoor district on Sunday morning.
Nagari: The police have conducted a Cordon Search Operation at Ojikuppam village in Nagari Mandal of Chittoor district on Sunday morning.
Under the supervision of the district SP Senthil Kumar, Chittoor Additional SP Krishna Arjuna Rao, Chittoor SB DSP Sudhakar Reddy, Chittoor AR DSP Lakshminarayana, Nagari, Nagari Rural, Puttur CI's and SI's along with 100 police personnel have participated in the search operation.
As part of the raid, the police went to every house and inquired details about any suspects living around and checked the documents of the vehicles parked in the house.
During the raid, the police have seized 12.2 kgs Ganja from Palani (48), Muma Swamy (28), Murali (32), Sampuranamma (70). They have also seized 114 Sara packets and 11 liquor bottles from Durai (60), Minulakshmi (56) and took them into their custody. The police identified 11 two-wheelers with no proper documents and shifted them to the police station and booked cases under AP Excise Act.
