Visakha police have arrested a man who trapped several women through social media.
Visakhapatnam: Visakha police have arrested a man who trapped several women through social media. The incident came into light when a victim has complained. According to the police, Kumar a driver belongs to Kancharapalem here in the city, has habituated to earn easy money through the wrong ways. He created a fake Facebook profile as a doctor and made friends with girls.
Beliving him as a doctor, few girls have met him. Taking advantage of this, Kumar moved close, clicked nude pics and started blackmailing with them. Later, he threatened to leak the pictures if anyone approached the police. Recently one of the victims filed a complaint with the police station. On receiving the information, the police booked a case and arrested the accused.
