Amaravati: Matsyakara Bharosa is a continuous process and those who were excluded in the initial stage, will be covered subsequently. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the government will provide financial benefit under the scheme to the eligible people every Friday.
Speaking at a review meeting on the newly launched YSR Matsyakara Bharosa programme at his residence on Friday, the Chief Minister said all eligible will be covered under the scheme. Jagan said that the government is committed to the welfare of SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities and said that it will strive to transform the Backward Classes into Backbone Classes.
The list of beneficiaries would be displayed at the Ward and Village Secretariats and all details regarding the programme would be furnished. All those who are eligible can apply on the basis of available information.
The ward and village volunteers would help the beneficiaries to fill up the applications. The Chief Minister asked the officials to convey the message to the needy persons.
