Nellore: Minister for Water Resources Dr. P Anil Kumar Yadav informed that they will develop 53 and 54 divisions in the city as model colonies on a pilot basis.
He visited Venkateswara Puram area in the city on Saturday and noticed sanitation conditions there.
Speaking to the media, Minister informed that they had planned to develop model colonies in the corporation limits and have selected the two divisions for development.
He said works would be taken up in the colonies with Rs 1 crore and CCTV cameras will also be set up.
The works will be completed within a year, he said.
Minister said that they would lay the foundation for the construction of Shaadi Manzil in Venkateswapuram area planned to be constructed with Rs.2 crore.
