Missing body of 11-year-old girl found in Krishna District
In a boat capsized incident near Chevitikallu village in Krishna district on Friday, an 11-year-old Gautami was washed away in the floodwater.
Amaravati: In a boat capsized incident near Chevitikallu village in Krishna district on Friday, an 11-year-old Gautami was washed away in the floodwater.
Over the incident, the NDRF team who have conducted the search operation for Gautami has finally found the girl dead body at Lakshmaiahvagu in Kanchikacherla mandal here in the district. On seeing their daughter's dead body, the parents went into deep shock.
With the increase of floodwater, the villages in Jaggayyapeta mandal Mukteswarapuram, Ravirala, Vedadri, Usthepalli, Chevitikallu are still submerged in the water. The floods surrounded these villages on Thursday.
The people living in low lying areas of Diviseema, Usthepalli, Ravirala, were evacuated to the nearby schools and relief camps.
