The Telugu Desam Party has been in tragic situation as the two senior leaders and former corporators of that party have died. Two senior leaders of Vijayawada were killed on the same day, leaving party workers in deep mourning. Former TDP corporators Atkuri Ravi Kumar and Goparthi Narasimha Rao passed away on Monday. TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh was deeply saddened by the death of the two leaders. "His death was a big blow to the party," Nara Lokesh tweeted to this effect.
"The sudden death of Vijayawada Telugu Desam party leaders and former Madhura Nagar corporator Atkuri Ravikumar is tragic. Their death was a desperate blow to the party. I extend my deepest sympathies to their family. I pray to God to give peace to their souls," Lokesh tweeted.
He also expressed condolences to another corporator who died of coronavirus. "It is sad that Vijayawada Telugudesam leaders and former Krishnalanka corporator Goparthi Narasimha Rao died due to the vovid epidemic. Their death was a desperate blow to the party. I extend my deepest sympathies to their family. I pray to God to give peace to their souls, " Lokesh tweeted.
