Nellore district additional court awards death sentence to a man who killed women for booty
Nellore 8th Additional District Session’s Court sentenced hanging to an accused who murdered a woman and her daughter for booty in 2013.
Nellore: Nellore 8th Additional District Session's Court sentenced hanging to an accused who murdered a woman and her daughter for booty in 2013. Main accused Shaik Imtiaz has been sentenced to hanging on Thursday, and two other juveniles have already been imposed imprisonment of 3 years in 2018 by the Juvenile Court.
A Dinakar Reddy, correspondent of Vagdevi Pharmacy College, is residing in the second street of Haranathapuram in the city along with his wife Sakunthala and daughter Bhargavi who is studying 3rd-year MBBS in local Narayana Medical College.
Shaik Imtiaz, who runs an architecture business in the city, has been engaged for house elevation. He, along with two youngsters, came to their house on Feb 12, 2013, in the afternoon hours and informed Dinakar Reddy on his presence in the house for plans. He observed valuable jewels they were wearing. He, pretending as planning for interiors, and closed the doors and threatened them for giving the ornaments. Since mother and daughter resisted to provide them with, they mercilessly attacked on both and left the house along with the booty.
Accidentally, the sister-in-law of Dinakar came to the house and observed no one was opening the door and informed to him. They found both were in a pool of blood and doctors confirmed their death when shifted to the hospital. Fourth town police booked cases against Imtiaz and juveniles Murali Krishna and Vamsi Manohar.
Juvenile Court imposed imprisonment of three years in October 2018. Now, 8th Additional District Sessions Judge B Satyanarayana who looks after cases related to women, especially pronounced judgment giving hanging to the main accused Sk Imtiaz.
