Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation conducted 'no bag day' programme in the name of 'naa paatasala naa kutumbam' here on Tuesday in all corporation schools. The programme was aimed to inculcate the habit of learning among the students without carrying bags to the schools. Students of 50 high schools and three upper primary schools participated.
The parents of the students also participated in the programme and expressed happiness over avoiding carrying of bags. Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar said the programme will benefit a lot to the students.
