Notorious gang involved in murders nabbed: Chittoor SP
District SP Ch V Appala Naidu has appreciated Nagari CI Sainath and his team for nabbing four notorious criminals, who were involved in murder and robbery cases.
Chittoor: District SP Ch V Appala Naidu has appreciated Nagari CI Sainath and his team for nabbing four notorious criminals, who were involved in murder and robbery cases. Speaking to the media here on Friday, the SP stated that the gang murdered Sarojamma (65) while she was alone in farm field. The victim was native of Mangasamudram village in Nagari mandal.
On July 24, the same gang attacked one Subhadramma (55) and fled away with her jewellery in Pitchatur mandal. The Nagari police arrested R Anand (35), a professional killer from Tamil Nadu State, C Gopal Reddy (70) and C Narasimhulu (42) of MN Village in Nagari mandal and C Mannan (50) from Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.
The SP said jewellery recovered from the accused and sent to judicial remand. He further mentioned that gang members were also involved in several murder cases in Tamil Nadu.
