Ongole: Prakasam district Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara announced that the government has issued administrative permissions to establish five more Dr YSR Urban Health Clinics in Ongole town.
In a statement,the collector announced that the government health services will come nearer to the town people. He said that they are going to take up repair works for the already existing four Urban Health Clinics in the town and ordered the commissioner to start the tendering process for the repairs and construction of new the UHCs. He said that they identified Rajiv Gruhakalpa, VengamukkaPalem, Peerlamanyam, Gaddalgunta, and Gudimellapadu (KesavarajuKunta) for the establishment of the new UHCs with a budget of Rs 80lakhs each.
He said that they will allocate Rs 10 lakhs for repairs to the UHCs in Ponugupati Colony, PothurajuPalem, Nirmal Nagar, and Venkateswara Colony. He advised the officials to provide a good atmosphere in the urban health centres to provide the best health services to the public.
