Ongole: The fans and followers of the Magunta family joined to mourn the loss of their favourite leader Magunta Subbarami Reddy and paid rich floral tributes, observing his 25th death anniversary on Tuesday.

The Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Magunta Raghava Reddy and local followers garlanded the photograph of Subbarami Reddy at the MP office and statues at Abhilash Hotel centre, railway station road, Addanki bus stand centre and paid tributes to the leader.

Later, they participated in the memorial programme arranged at the PVR Boys High School grounds in Ongole. The Magunta family members, aides, and followers of Subbarami Reddy remembered the services of the former Ongole MP and announced that they will strive to realise the ideologies of the great man. The Prakasam district SP Siddharth Kaushal, Magunta Chandana, former MLA Buchepally Sivaprasad Reddy, former MLC Pothula Suneetha, Kandula Gowtham Reddy, Vallamreddy Lakshmana Reddy, and others also participated in the programme.

The Prakasam district Congress party also organised the memorial programme of the former Congress leader in its office. The DCC president Eda Sudhakar Reddy, Ongole town president Nagalakshmi, district vice-president Sk Rasool and others also participated in the programme.
