Prepare plan to provide housing to all: Collector
The Prakasam district Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara ordered the concerned officials to prepare plans to provide housing to all eligible families in the district.
Ongole: The Prakasam district Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara ordered the concerned officials to prepare plans to provide housing to all eligible families in the district. The collector organised a review meeting with the housing department officials in his chamber on Thursday.
In the meeting, the collector said that the Chief Minister is committed to providing 25 lakh houses by this Ugadi and prepared action plan to construct 6.50 houses per year. He said that as per the smart pulse survey, there are about 2.16 lakh families without own house.
He ordered the housing officials to prepare beneficiaries list as per the revenue villages and asked the revenue staff to conduct a door-to-door survey to meet the beneficiaries and record details. He ordered them to identify land to construct the houses and issue plots to poor in villages for the construction of houses.
Joint Collector S Shan Mohan, DRO V Venkata Subbaiah, housing PD Sainath, TIDCO EE Suresh Kumar, housing EEs Lakshmi Narayana, VD Sarma, Venkata Swamy, DEE Venkata Rao and others also participated in the meeting.
