Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has appealed to the people to see the difference between Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's 17 months rule and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's rule.

Addressing the people at a public meeting at Margani grounds here on Monday, held in connection with the completion of 10 days of Prajalatho Nadu Prjalakosam Nedu, he said everyone in the State is happy with YSRCP rule.

The Chief Minister is introducing one welfare scheme every month and 90 per cent of election promises were fulfilled in 17 months. First of its kind in the country, he introduced volunteer system and village and ward secretariats to deliver the goods at the doorstep of the people in right time. Many States in the country are showing interest on the system and enquiring how they are being implemented in the State.

The government will distribute house sites and houses as assured and also construct houses without collecting any amount from the people. The Chief Minister tried to distribute 30 lakh house sites to the people but former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu created hurdles through the court cases.

The MP further added Rajamahendravaram will be developed on par with Visakhapatnam on all fronts. As many as 56 corporations were created for 133 sub-castes in BC community for their overall development. It is the time for the people to extend their cooperation to the Chief Minister who is striving for the welfare of the people and development of the State round the clock.

Earlier, he participated in Maha Padayatra from Morampudi centre to Margani grounds with various Radhams of welfare schemes. MLAs Talaari Venkat Rao, Dr S Suryanarayana Reddy, former MLA RSP Rao, Bhavani Priya, K Sagar, A Vasu and many others were present.
