Thirteen students of the Shirdi Sai Junior College here were selected to study BA (Humanities) at Bengaluru-based Azim Premji University, according to principal M Vardhan Mohan.

Rajamahendravaram: Thirteen students of the Shirdi Sai Junior College here were selected to study BA (Humanities) at Bengaluru-based Azim Premji University, according to principal M Vardhan Mohan.

He said in a statement here on Wednesday that the students were studying Intermediate in the Dafne Civils Academy with civil and clat orientation. Praneeta, Zeenal, Satya Meghana, Sri Harshita, Uttam, Aiswarya, Satvika, Vyjayanti, Rishita Naidu, Sai Ganesh, Harshini, Lekhya and Lokesh Manikantha were selected for the BA (Humanities course), he added.

Out of the 23 students appeared for the examination the 13 students were selected, he said. Of the 30 seats available in the University for the course, 40 per cent of the students were from Shirdi Sai, chairman of the educational institution Tambabattula Sridhar and director Sri Vidya said while expressing their expressing happiness.
