RINL bags gold, silver awards in ICQCC-2019
Quality Circle teams from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited won laurels at the recently concluded International Convention on Quality Control Circles -2019 (ICQCC) in Tokyo.
Visakhapatnam: Quality Circle teams from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited won laurels at the recently concluded International Convention on Quality Control Circles -2019 (ICQCC) in Tokyo.
While the Quality Circle teams from Coke Ovens department and LMMM department were awarded the prize under 'gold' category, the team from Roll Shop was awarded under the 'silver' category.
The RINL team delegation was led by its Director (Personnel) KC Das. The presentations made by the teams were appreciated by the judges and other teams, who took part from different countries as well. The participating teams responded well with confidence to the queries raised by the jury.
The convention was organised by JUSE (Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers) wherein 20 countries, including Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, China, Bangladesh, Philippines, Zambia, Mauritius, Mexico, U K and USA participated and 211 case studies were presented. Close to 1,354 delegates from different countries attended the convention and from India 340 delegates took part.
