Rotary Club holds painting, chess tourneys in Rajamahendravaram
As many as 236 students participated in the painting competition held at Damerla Ramarao Art Gallery organised by Rotary Club of Rajahmundry River City as part of Yuvajanotsav celebrations on Thursday.
Rajamahendravaram: As many as 236 students participated in the painting competition held at Damerla Ramarao Art Gallery organised by Rotary Club of Rajahmundry River City as part of Yuvajanotsav celebrations on Thursday. Chess competition was held at AKC Rotary River City hall and about 130 students participated in the competition.
Rotary River City president S Nagendra Kishore, New Generations director T Sridhar, secretary N Bhaskar, coordinators N Rahul, S Murali Krishna, N Shyamshing complimented the students for showing interest and taking part in the competitions.
They said that out of 130 chess players 80 of them were new players learning the techniques of chess. Coach Kalyan was complimented by the Rotary assistant governor Ch NGS Prasad Reddy and Nagendra Kishore on the occasion.
