Science, Maths Exhibition for children from Dec 20: Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara
Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara announced that the state-level Jawaharlal Nehru Science, Maths and Environment Exhibition for Children will be held in Ongole from December 20 to 22.
Ongole: Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara announced that the state-level Jawaharlal Nehru Science, Maths and Environment Exhibition for Children will be held in Ongole from December 20 to 22.
Speaking at a review meeting with the education and related departments in the Collectorate, the Collector ordered the officials to see the exhibition inspires the children visiting it.
He said that that there will be a display of 234 exhibits from the 13 districts in the state, including 78 individual exhibits from six students and another 78 individual exhibits from six teachers from 13 districts each, 78 group exhibits from six teams with six students each from 13 districts.
He said that there will be 234 students and 234 teachers from each district participating in the exhibition. He ordered the officials to conduct the exhibition in the Women Social Empowerment Building and also provide accommodation for the students and teachers in the same building.
The District Collector announced that the exhibition will be containing exhibits on agriculture, health, natural resources, industrial development, transport linkage in future, modern mathematics etc, and ordered the DEO VS Subbarao to prepare a souvenir for the exhibition and see all schools in the state receives it.
