Shakti Patrolling Teams formed

Guntur: Rural SP SV Rajasekhar Babu said that Shakti Patrolling Teams will work to take stern action against those who attack women, girls and take action against the eve-teasers. He addressed a meeting held in the DPO in Guntur city on Tuesday. He said that the team will work with 24 women and they have already trained.

He said that they will start the team in Guntur rural police district also. Later, he distributed uniform to the Shakti Patrolling Teams. He said that as soon as information was received about attacks on women, the team will jump into action immediately. He urged team to wear uniform and use good language and get name and fame to the department. Guntur rural additional SP Varada Raju was also present.
