SP: Orientation to PS receptionists' tomorrow
District SP Aishwarya Rastogi said that they are providing a one-day orientation session to the receptionists of all police stations on July 20 on how to receive complaints from the public and to behave with the victims.
Nellore: District SP Aishwarya Rastogi said that they are providing a one-day orientation session to the receptionists of all police stations on July 20 on how to receive complaints from the public and to behave with the victims.
Interacting with the media here on Thursday, the SP stated he had come to know that some cops were not behaving properly with people, who visit police stations for justice. Rastogi mentioned that they would strictly implement 'Spandana' programme at all police stations for resolving issues of people.
As part of the measures, women police constables in all police stations were appointed for receiving complaints at the reception counters. The SP said one-day orientation programme would be held for receptionists on July 20 and they would be trained on soft skills, receiving complaints from the public in an amicable manner, and providing basic amenities to the people, who visit the police stations.
Rastogi stated that they were cross-checking implementation of Spandana programme in all police stations from time to time for conducting in an effective way. "I am holding discussions with District Collector, RTO and Municipal Commissioner to regulate traffic in the city," he explained.
