SP reviews security at strong rooms

Eluru: Superintendent of Police M Raviprakash inspected strong rooms where EVMs are preserved here on Friday. He visited CRR Engineering College and Ramachandra Engineering College and enquired about security arrangements with paramilitary forces.
The EVMs pertaining to Eluru, Chintalapudi, Denduluru, Unguturu, Polavaram, Kovvuru, Gopalapuram and Nidadavole constituencies were preserved at these strong rooms. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that because of the coordinated efforts and hard work of the police personnel, the polling in 15 constituencies in the district passed off peacefully.
He appreciated efforts of each and every police person in making the conduct of the polls a success. Additional SP (Administration) K Eswararao, Additional SP Srinivasa Rao, Armed Reserve Additional SP M Mahesh Kumar, Special Branch DSP N Muralikrishna, Mahila Police Station DSP Pydeswara Rao, Eluru Traffic DSP Bhaskara Rao and others were present.
