The Bharatiya Janata Party Rajampet parliamentary constituency president Venkata Subba Reddy said that he would take the violence acts and atrocities committed by the ruling YSRCP leaders while filing the nominations to the local body elections nomination process to the notice of the central government.

He alleged police and election commission officials of working as YSRCP cadre. He said that the YCP was acting unilaterally in the elections. The BJP leader has said he would complain to the central election commission and centre on the atrocities, tampering and laundering incidents in the Rajampeta parliament. The YSRCP government is doing what the TDP has done in the past.

The BJP and Jana Sena party who forged alliance were to contest together in the elections. However, they reportedly could not file the nominations due to untoward incidents. The Jana Sena also said to be taking all these issues to the centre's attention.
