Kadapa: While reiterating the commitment of the government in uplifting the living standards of farming community, Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha urged the Agriculture Market Committees to extend their support to the government by making agriculture as profitable one. Addressing Kadapa Agriculture Market Committee Board of Directors and committee members meeting chaired by Chairman Baskar Reddy here on Saturday, the Deputy Chief Minister stressed the need for coordination between Committee members and directors in implementing schemes like providing Minimum Support Price(MSP) to the farmers for their produce and in avoiding the role of middlemen in the purchase of produce from the farmers. He said that Chief Minister is giving top priority to agriculture by introducing Rythu Bharosa Centres.

Committee chairman urged the Deputy CM to initiate steps for modernisation of farmers rest houses.
