Students demand action on hostel warden : Collector

Kurnool: Students of a Schedule Caste (SC) hostel in Banaganapalle staged a protest in front of Tahsildar's office on Saturday demanding stern action against hostel warden Shafi. The students accompanied with the leaders of students' organisations took out a huge rally from the hostel and staged a road blockade at petrol pump circle with half boiled rice.

The students shifted their protest to Tahsildar's office where they raised slogans seeking justice. Student organisation leader Surya Narayana said that Collector G Veera Pandian orders are ignored by the hostel warden. Later, the students and the leaders of student organization handed over the representation to the Deputy Tahsildar.
